Leadership Program
The Sparta-White County Chamber of Commerce is committed to cultivating leaders who are passionate about community involvement. To facilitate this, the chamber partners with the Rotary Club of Sparta to offer a Leadership Program. This program inculdes seminars that introduce you to local community leaders. Throughout the course, class members dedicate their time to learning more about Sparta and White County, building meaningful relationships, strengthening their leadership skills, and discovering new ways to make a difference in the community.
This program is perfect for those eager to develop their leadership skills while building meaningful relationships within the community. Over the course of multiple transformative sessions, participants will engage in activities designed to deepen their understanding of effective leadership and community dynamics.
Education
Learn from local education organizations such as the White County Board of Education, Motlow State Community College, and Tennessee Tech University.
Government
Meet with White County civic leaders in the police, fire, codes, water, and maintenance departments as well as the administrators in the clerks' office. Interact with state government officials in Nashville by sitting in on committee meetings, touring the state capitol, and hearing insights from lobbyists.
